Just like in a Lighthouse

The appartment is situated along the Quai du capitaine Allègre, in Arcachon.

You are facing the marina and the fishing port. This means you will always have something to watch, between the sailing boats coming and going and the fishing vessels unloading their fish. It also means that there might be some noise (and sometimes at odd hours), it doesn't last for long but keep in ming that this is an active port.

The Aiguillon is an authentic part of the town that provides a range of useful shops (bakery, chemist, butcher, cheesemonger) and a good selection of local restaurants.

The town center is a 20 minutes walk along the wooden track on the beach or a 10 minutes cycle ride. You may also use the EHO bus, that runs every 20-30 minutes, it runs right past the flat and will take you to the train station (there are no bus stops, instead you choose where you want to stop...). Or you may want to rent a electric car (Bluecub)...more details below.
